Dr. Darryl Arrington
Dr. Darryl Arrington is the Clinical Director at Helping Up Mission. He began his time at HUM in 2004 as a graduate student intern, working on his master degree (Capital Bible Seminary). He has many years of experience in recovery and rehabilitation leadership, and several years of experience providing direct services to men and women in recovery from behavioral health difficulties. He is focused on assisting HUM to provide Spiritually-infused services that are informed with evidence-based clinical knowledge.
Darryl completed a Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy at Amridge University. His dissertation focused on the post-liberation experience of female survivors of sex trafficking, and he is a member of the Maryland Human Trafficking Task Force Victim Services Committee. He is also a member of the Maryland Association of Counseling and Development, the American Association of Christian Counselors, the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, and the Christian Association of Psychological Studies.
