Rosemary got a second chance at Helping Up Mission

“I came to Helping Up Mission because I couldn’t stop using, and I knew I needed help. I’ve been to different treatment programs, but after just six days at Helping Up Mission, my whole outlook changed. They don’t give up on you. They want the best for you. Not everyone gets a second chance, but I did, thanks to Helping Up Mission.”

You can get started for FREE! There’s no cost to enter and begin your recovery journey in our Women’s Spiritual Recovery Program. Thanks to donations from generous friends and community partners, our Program does not require insurance or charge you an entrance fee.

Applicants for the Spiritual Recovery Program must be:
• At least 21 years old.
• Suffering from alcohol or substance abuse, and ready to receive help.
• Able to abide by a 45-day initial in-house restriction.
• Willing and able to perform work therapy assignments.
• Ready to become involved in all aspects of the program.
• Agreeable to all program policies and procedures.
• Available for a pre-entry personal interview on site (no telephone interviews).

Finally, applicants may have open court dates, but may not have outstanding warrants. And no outside employment is permitted for the first six months of the program.

Every day varies depending on your stage of recovery, but a typical day often includes:
• Classes to help address the root causes of addiction
• One-on-one sessions with a counselor
• Building work skills
• Being part of a therapeutic community

You will also enjoy three nutritious meals each day. Participation in our program is completely voluntary, and you are free to leave at any time.

Most of the women who come to Helping Up Mission are dealing with a variety of physical or mental health issues, dental concerns, or legal challenges. Don’t let those problems stop you. We will help you make progress on all these issues.

As of 2023, our Women’s Spiritual Recovery Program welcomes pregnant women and moms with infants so that you don’t have to be separated while you take part in our recovery program.
