Under One Roof – Manatee County Program

Helping Up Mission is partnering with Manatee County, Florida to support the development of Under One Roof, a recovery program funded through local allocation of the national opioid settlement funds along with HUD/ARPA resources. This initiative is fully supported by Manatee County and serves individuals referred through their local system of care.

Participation is limited to clients from Manatee County.

New women’s shelter Under One Roof welcomes its first clients

BRADENTON, Fla. (WWSB) - The Under One Roof “Gateway South” shelter is now open, to support women impacted by addiction, homelessness and trauma, Manatee County officials announced.

Gateway South is a women-focused shelter and recovery center designed to provide a safe, secure and healing environment where clients can access critical services under one roof.

Bring help and hope to Manatee County, Florida

Our Manatee County Under One Roof Resource Center and Gateway South Women's Shelter offers people a way off the streets… for good!

To reach people where they are, we provide hope and resources to the people of Manatee County at our Under One Roof facility. We build relationships with our most vulnerable neighbors who are living in unimaginable conditions, working to meet their immediate needs by offering them case management and referrals for services.
