Sam’s addiction has kept him out of the life of his teenage son. The last time they talked was one year ago. Sam tried to connect with him again on Father’s Day, but his son hung up the phone.
So Sam could do nothing about his son, but could do something about himself. He’s been focusing on just doing the right thing one day at a time. Its working, and he’s feeling pretty good about things these days.
But he wasn’t prepared for the surprise phone call from his son last night. It was a wonderful conversation and they agreed to meet on the weekend!
If there is a God – and there is! – then you would expect Him to do things like this – and He does!
