Tom’s a young guy who has struggled with drug addiction for a number of years. Of course, his addiction regularly leads to problems with the law. It happened again recently.
He has a lawyer who likes him and believes there is hope for this young man. This time the lawyer told Tom he really needs to get some help. He also recommended Tom come to the 12-month residential Spiritual Recovery Program at Helping Up Mission.
His lawyer even made the phone call to get it started. So Tom arrived here just a couple of weeks ago and told me his story. He’s tried to do programs before but has just not been able to find what he needed to stay clean.
Tom’s young and he’s trying. It will take him a while – but that’s what a one-year program is all about! We know he can do it. We also know how he can do it…
