“All the words of her mouth are just,” she says in the first verse. The idea being that wisdom always says “right” or “honest” things.
In addition, “none of them is crooked or perverse.” She’ll never tell us anything that is “crooked” or “twisted!”
Here, Wisdom says of her own words that she’s a straight-shooter. She says what she means…and she means what she says!
If Wisdom is “seeing life from God’s point of view” – our definition – then we should be able to have confidence that this is true, that her words really will guide us in the way we should go.
The second verse suggests that Wisdom’s words work especially well for “the discerning” and “those who have found knowledge.”
So, for all of us who are willing to get with the program, what Wisdom offers is “right,” “honest” and “accurate.” Wisdom shows us the straight up truth and the straight forward way to go.
Wouldn’t it be great to get this kind of guidance every day? It’s available!
