The Baltimore Running Festival is now just 3 days away. This year I am running two races! For the fourth year in a row I will be doing the half-marathon, but this year I also signed up to use my race as a means to raise some additional support for Helping Up Mission. It has been very rewarding for me and others on Team HUM, as we are known, to see so much support from so many wonderful people. But as race day is approaching, I am feeling some pressure…not about the half marathon, but about the Team fundraising challenge! I started late (big surprise!) but got going pretty well and settled in at a comfortable 6th place in raising support. But today I am in 8th place, just behind Kate and her husband Chris. If you would like to make a donation to support what we are doing here, there is still time. Of course, if you put it under my account, I might not feel so much pressure – but it is not all about me, is it!
