Proverb for the Day 10:12 — No Hatin’!

Hatred stirs up dissension, but love covers over all wrongs.

The focus of this verse is my attitude. My “hatred stirs up dissension” in others. When I am unable to let go of something that someone else has done to me, I will almost assuredly develop hatred in my heart. Even if I try to hide it, my feelings will eventually spill out, inevitably leading to dissension between me and them.

On the other side, my attitude of “love” toward others helps me to let things go and not hold them against someone else. It is possible that my “love covers over all wrongs” and that would mean “no hatin’!”

Sometimes I can process things in my heart and let it go. Other times, mine will have to be a tough love where I will just have to go and face them over our issues. That will empower me to then be able to let things go. Either way, it will be my call!
