Steve’s Just Quietly Continuing to Get It Done!

Steve’s a late 20-something who came to our 12-month residential Spiritual Recovery Program with no better options. His addiction had messed up all his relationships and his career.

A quiet guy, Steve kept his head down and just went about his business working his own spiritual recovery. At the point in our program when he was eligible to go to back to work in the community, he got a job in his career field as an electrician.

There are a number of large and small employers in the Baltimore area who willingly employ our guys. Steve is one of 5 HUM grads now working at this particular business.

I haven’t seen Steve for months and ran into him last week. He graduated 3 months ago and still lives on our campus.

He likes his job and feels good about getting his life together again. Steve’s saving his money and will be ready to get a vehicle and his own place again in the not too distant future.

But, for a young guy, he’s being pretty patient and just quietly continuing to get ‘er done!
