Wes has been at Helping Up Mission in our 12-month residential Spiritual Recovery Program for almost five and a half months. An older quiet guy, I’m not always certain what he’s thinking.
But recently, Wes made it pretty clear what’s going on in his life. When I returned home this week from my archaeological dig in the Holy Land, I had this message waiting for me:
Hey pastor Gary how’s your vacation? Fine I hope.
Pastor Gary I’m writing to share with you what my life has become since coming to HUM and accepting Jesus as my lord and saviour. You told me if I did this that he would change my life and he has.
I’m out with my daughters and grandchildren as we speak having a great time. God has given me my family back. So I just want to thank you for pointing me in the right direction cause you said some amazing things would happen if I trust in God and you was right.
I’m living proof. Can’t wait to see you so I can thank you in person. God bless you.
