It says two things about the LORD. He “keeps watch over knowledge” and “He frustrates the words of the unfaithful.”
The Bible is actually clear that God keeps watch over everything. In theology we can it omnipresence (“always-present”) and omniscience (“all-knowing”). So to “keep watch over knowledge” is not a necessarily a great new insight.
But, the point is, He’s got His eye on knowledge and truth.
As an almost opposite statement, “He frustrates the words of the unfaithful.” Because of His command of knowledge and what is true, it’s clear He would also know “the words of the unfaithful.”
And because of who He is, He will simply not allow such “unfaithful words” to do their intended harm. He will make all that “knowledge” He watches over available to us so we can effectively address and handle all those “unfaithful words.”
Being in touch with God enables me to rise above whoever and whatever comes my way…one day at a time!
